Description
Case Study – Cat living with a dog toileting in undesirable locations in the home
Join Rosie for 2-3 hours online to work through a real-life behaviour case study – from history taking to diagnosis and treatment planning. Limited spaces to allow for open discussion – cameras and microphones can be on or off, but contribution to the discussion is expected via typed chat if preference is to have microphone off.
Suitable for all levels of experience, from students to behaviourists seeing cases.
You will be provided with initial information (anonymised) about the case that was provided to Rosie before she saw the client. You will then come to the session with ideas of questions to gain a full history from Rosie pretending to be the client (she will guide you if necessary). As a group you will discuss possible differentials, initiating & maintaining factors and come to a decision regarding a likely diagnosis. You will then brainstorm what could be included in the behaviour modification programme.
As part of this we will also be discussing how to build rapport with the ‘client’, how to maximise client compliance, how you will measure success going forward, liaison with the referring vet, and what your follow-up support would look like.
CPD certificates available.
